Your Second Visit to Spine & Sports Family Chiropractic
The second day in our office is called the, "review of findings," visit. During this time Dr. Kemp will review your x-rays with you and discuss what treatments he has planned. Remember, he may feel that the best plan for you is to send you to another doctor if we can't help.
If you have health insurance we will also take time during your review of findings visit to explain your insurance and any cost associated with care. If you do not have insurance, don't worry! We have reasonable, affordable, time of service options available.
You will normally receive treatment on this visit, so plan on spending some extra time for some TLC.
Regular Visits
Once you have completed your first two "New Patient" visits with our office it will typically take 20 minutes for each additional visit. We try to have a no waiting policy in our office. You will generally not see people in our waiting room. We feel that you come in to get treatment, not to sit in the "waiting" room.
You will come in at your scheduled appointment time and the receptionist will hand you your treatment card. Sign in and off you go. In addition to your adjustment, you may be doing some light stretching, exercise, or you might get hot packs and a massage. This will depend on how the doctor and you have developed your treatment plan. Once you have received your treatment for that day you will be on your way. Dr. Kemp likes to run on time, and always does.
Generally, patients have 3 phases of treatment. They are Pain relief, correction, and strengthening. Each will be tailored by you and Dr. Kemp to meet your needs. Your treatment will change upon completion of each phase. Throughout treatment we may also perform testing, re-evaluations, and additional x-rays.
